Compassionate Funeral and Memorial Ceremonies

As a civil funeral celebrant, I would like to get to know about your loved one as much as possible. All those little details, quirks, humorous moments which made your loved unique - these are the things I am looking for. I want to create the most personal and intimate of services - religious or non-religious - with music, poetry and readings which you feel best reflect your loved one: classical, rock, pop or TV themes, a favourite sound, a funny limerick, a reflective poem, a sombre reading.... Anything is possible..... I work with the funeral directors to create a memorable occasion, honouring your loved one, commemorating their life....

I can offer all of this at traditional burials and cremations or in the tranquillity of a natural burial setting.

You may wish to celebrate your loved one's life  some time after a more traditional ceremony, remembering and honouring them in a less formal way or in a more intimate setting.  This is often an occasion where happier memories are shared with an emphasis on celebration and commemoration, a chance for family and friends to come together and re-live their own memories. I can create a ceremony which is wholly inclusive of personal reminiscences along with carefully chosen readings and pieces of music. 

Shorter services for ashes interments (burial of ashes urns) or ashes scatterings in beautiful or favourite settings provide the opportunity for you to say a final farewell to your loved one.  A few thoughtful words, a reflective poem, a personal reading.....

Pets are family - whether big or small, furry or scaly - and often their loss has an impact on our lives far greater than we would imagine. I create meaningful  pet services for you to say your final goodbyes to your cherished friends - either at home or in a favourite walkies spot.

 No-one likes to think about what the future may bring, but sometimes being able to record our wishes around death and  how we would like to be remembered can provide great comfort to those left behind. Knowing a loved one's thoughts and preferences helps create a truly personalised ceremony or memorial, with the worry about "getting it wrong" removed entirely.  My pre-planning services can help you and your loved one plan for the future , safe in the knowledge that every wish is taken care of.

I understand how difficult it can be to cope with the loss of a loved one. I am able to offer grief support services through appropriate and helpful signposting to help you and your family through this difficult time.

• Unlimited script revisions - I want you to be happy with everything
• Liaison with your chosen funeral director and place of funeral regarding the full service
• Delivery of the full service and symbolic acts on the day of the funeral
